White-throated Swift

These remarkably fast flyers nest in this canyon called Font's Point in Southern California and, when they fly by close to you, the sound is an incredible whoosh! Their speed makes it very difficult to photograph them as they approach you. Consequently, these photographs show them flying away - not ideally great from an avian photographic point of view.  I did get lucky in 2013 though as I managed to get them at closer range.
